First comment on your blog, although I have downloaded several of your books, and have followed the blog for several months...I like.

I think you are on the right track, as the consumer is bombarded with more and more, cutting thru the noise has become the challenge, regardless of the media.  

As people/technology get smarter at filtering what information reaches the desired recipient, the dynamics will continue to change.  Think of were we were technologically 20 years ago!  Twenty years from now (probably less), consumers will have semi intelligent automated personal assistants that actually read and interpret our marketing efforts...and filter them.  

Of course consumers still interpret the search results they recieve.  What happens when the PDA starts doing that...I tell my PDA to find me the best real estate agent, based on some basic criteria.  As a forward looking real estate agent myself, I am considering how to build rapport, instill confidence, and establish trust in order to get the PDA to connect me to the customer....Maybe my PDA can do it for me.
