Depending on your age, you may remember the TV show “Lifestyles of the Rich & Famous” hosted by Robin Leach. The show profiled the big name celebrities highlighting how great their lives were.

I never watched the show. 🙂

The reason why is because I really don’t care very much about celebrities. Truth be told, I can’t act, sing, or dance. And I personally think fame is a prison sentence. I’m more of an “under the radar” kind of guy.

I’d much rather study the lifestyles of people who have complete AUTONOMY. People who’ve designed lives they truly love. These people tend to walk a different path than everyone else, and they are completely fascinating to me. They think differently about their time and they work hard to create their ideal lifestyles without worrying too much about what others think.

If you’ve been following me for awhile, you’ve probably picked upon this as I’ve written about some pretty cool people over the years.

Well, I decided to start a section in my monthly Cashflownaire Newsletter dedicated to highlighting people who live cool lifestyles. The reason why is because designing your ideal lifestyle is really what being a Cashflownaire is really about. It’s about living each day how you really want to live.

In my May 2018 Cashflownaire Newsletter, I studied J. Paul Getty. Getty was the richest man in the world; however, what many don’t realize is that he designed an incredible lifestyle. Yes, I also included a few lessons I picked up from Getty on wealth accumulation, too.

In my June 2018 Cashflownaire Newsletter, which will be released next week, I dig into the lifestyle of a best selling author. This author passed away several years ago, but had engineered an amazing lifestyle working just three hours a day. Plus, he was a complete Badass!

The reason why I study cool lifestyles is because I pick up ideas on how to make my life better. I work really hard to copy what I see and learn from those who live amazing lives. It’s really not about money. It’s about how you choose to spend your time.

The reality is our time in this world is soooo incredibly short.

Shouldn’t we use this limited time in ways that make us happy?
Shouldn’t we engineer things so we enjoy every day, not just Saturday?
Shouldn’t we work hard to live well?
Shouldn’t we make obtaining autonomy a priority?

Sadly, we’re never really taught that we can design our lives exactly how we want to live. Since we’re not taught this, we don’t invest any time into studying how to live well. And because we don’t’ study it, and we don’t’ think about it, we end up living lives of quiet desperation.

P.S. If you become a Cashflownaire Member this week, you’ll get the May Newsletter immediately. Plus, you’ll get the June Newsletter next week when it’s released! It’s almost like getting a two months for the price of one! If you wait until next week to become a Cashflownaire. you’ll lose out on the May Newsletter. 🙁
